Brennan takes in Augie T.'s show
When Augie T, the radio guy and stand-up comedian, gave a Mother's Day show at the King Kamehameha Hotel in Kailua, Kona, last weekend, he had surprise star power in the audience. Colt Brennan, quietly visiting the Big Island for R&R before heading for rookie camp, brought girlfriend Shakti Stream and her mom to see Augie's show.
"He tried to be low-key, but when he walked into my sold-out show, the crowd stood up and applauded him, " said Augie. "Colt was gracious and appreciative, flashed his million-dollar smile — and was the brunt of a few of my jokes. "
Augie heads to Kaua'i on Saturday to present his first Speak the Dream Foundation scholarship to Lauren Esaki at a concert at the Kilohana Lu'au Pavilion.
